Special Crane Duty motor with complex execution for a critical project
Recently we have supplied 3 critical application motors to one of our esteemed customers for crane application.
These motors were 230kW, 6 pole, IM B5, Frame 315
mounted with following specific features :
– Inverter fed
– IC416 with specifically designed external cooling units
– 5500Nm brake mounted
– Encoder mounted
– Marine type
– Approved and 3.2 tested
– C5M painted.
The motors were completely type tested at Rotor. The motors also passed in addition special vibration tests at different frequencies of operating points up to 150 Hz.
Rotor partnered the customer throughout the cycle of the project – from concept to the execution of the motors for the customized application.
