Stock Colours and Coating

Rotor’s base motors come with Corrosion Category 2 (C2) with 2K-epoxy resin shade -2K RAL 7030 epoxy resin paint system.  The total thickness of paint for cast iron components is 60µm.

Rotor excels in coating to protect your motor

Our modern spray-paint booth allows Rotor to apply a high-quality coating system to our products. The booth is a conditioned environment, where temperature and humidity are constantly monitored:

  • Environmental temperature
  • Surface temperature
  • Relative humidity
  • Dewpoint

We will carefully measure layer thickness for each individual coating layer and upon request we can provide a detailed report.

We have a state of the art spraypaint booth at Rotor headquarters in Eibergen to apply special anti-corrosion coatings. These coatings will protect your motor against corrosive agents such as seawater and chemical fumes by using several layers of paint with different characteristics.
But it isn’t just about applying the coating layers; we maintain strict control measures and use Traceability and Control forms for each job. This step produces high-quality work that our customers love and can depend on.

Upon request any electric motor can be coated in any of these colours.

Your electric motor can always (additionally) be sprayed/painted in one of these colors upon request.
