Type Approvals
Rotor is authorized and approved to independently test and certify electric motors according to the rules of different Class Societies. Sometimes it is possible to do the testing without the presence of a surveyor, after obtaining a Type Approval Certificate.
We carry out the tests at the Rotor Test Center at our headquarters in Eibergen, the Netherlands. Rotor possesses and maintains Type Approval Certificates for DNV-GL, BV, CCS, LRS, ABS, RMRS, RRR, RINA and KRS. We review requirement from our customers and prepare the quotations according to the applicable conditions of the project.
